디오 음악의 집대성이라 보여지고, 평범한 팀들로 구성이 되었는데, 대부분 독일 팀인듯 보이고, 모인 팀의 공통 분모가 조금 애매하다. 특징은 뭐...시원하게 음악을 뽑아내는 팀 정도? 나쁘지 않은 좋은 구성이다. 다만, 사운드가 조금 맘에 안듬.

유난히 한국에서 호불호가 많이 갈리는 고딕음반이다. 예술의 경지다 아니면 그냥 그런 고딕이다로 나뉘는 음반. 여러가지 이유가 있겠지만, 난 그저 듣기 쉽고 잔잔한 고딕 정도라고 보여진다. 어찌보면 하가드랑 너무 비슷한 고딕. 하지만, 평작 이상의 음반임에는 틀림없다고 생각한다.

Helloween의 Chameleon 음반은 나올 당시에 욕을 참 많이 먹었던 음반.
나 역시도 Keeper에 대한 기대때문에 어떻게 저런 음반이 나왔을까 싶을 정도로 실망도 많이 했었지만,
어느새...Helloween음반중에서 이 음반을 제일 많이 듣고 있는 나는 왜 이렇게 변했을까하는 생각을 하게 만드는 음반.
그런데, 이 음반이야 말고 Helloween이라는 이름을 빼고 그냥 듣는다면 정말 좋은 앨범이다.

아주 들을게 많은 씨디인거 같다.
제대로 잘 꾸며져 있는듯, 기타리스트 들이 모여서 만든 크리스마스를 주제로 해서 만든 음반.
그 당시에는 참 좋았던 기억이 가득한 음반.
대부분 재즈틱하거나 팝틱한 크리스마스 앨범대신에 이 음반을 줄창 들었던 듯.
특히나, Stuart Hamm의 썰매는 베이스를 좋아하는 나로써는 최고의 곡.

Laibach는 뭐라 해야되나, Industrial이라고 하기엔 좀 애매하고 Rammstein보다는 조금 더 전자적인 음이 많은 밴드다.
오래 듣기에는 조금 아쉽다. 내공이 아직 부족한 밴드라 보고 싶은 맘이................

Lenny kravitz 역시도 좋은 곡도 있는 반면, 나머지 곡에서는 그다지 어떠한 감흥을 불러 일으키지 못한 듯.
약간의 짬뽕같은 느낌의 음반이다.

metallica tribute, offspring, sinergy, trixter 뭐라 딱히 표현할 방법이 없네.
그냥 그렇다고 해야되나?
Offspring은 앨범이 아니라서 설명하기 뭐하고, Sinergy도 좋긴 한데 앨범이 이빨이 빠져서리...
Trixter는 솔직히 그냥 그렇다. 평범한 Hair Metal이라고 치부해야 될런지...
너무 늦은 나이에 이런 음악을 접해서 그런가? 왜 감흥이 없어진거야!!!

그리고, Stanley Clark는 잡동사니 모아 둔 거다. 그런데 들을 음악은 참 많다.
흐흐흐, 솔직히 이런 음악이야 말고 음반보다는 낱곡들이 더 좋은 법.
몇해를 들었는데도 귀에 잘 감기지가 않네...-.-;
