모종의 거래? 또는 참여한 아티스트가 내려달라고 했을 수도 있는거니까...

이 곡은 특별히 M.MCLAIN이 참여했던 곡이라는 거 말고는 사실 다른 곡과의 차이점은 없다.

ORIGIN은 OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES에서 시작했다.

밴드 HISTORY의 첫 번재는
In the summer of 1968, tenor saxophonist/vocalist Emilio Castillo met Stephen "Doc" Kupka, who played baritone sax. Castillo had played in several bands, but Castillo's father told his son to "hire that guy" after a home audition.[3] Together, they became the backbone of Tower of Power. Within months the group, then known as The Motowns, began playing various gigs around Oakland and Berkeley, their soul sound relating to both minority and rebellious listeners.
카스틸로가 쿱카를 만났고, 집에서 오디션을 본 후에 그를 고용하라는 아버지의 얘기가 있었다는데, 음...
아버지가 왜? 그랬을까...
그렇게 1970년에 이름을 TOWER OF POWER로 개명을 하고, 더 많은 멤버들을 모아서 대망의 첫 앨범 EAST BAY GREASE를 발매하며 활동을 시작한다.
음...곡에 대한 느낌을 설명하자면...
리드미컬하기 보다는 약간 스트레이트한 느낌이다. FUNKY 느낌보다는 뭔가 모를 강함이 느껴지는데,
HORN SESSION도 멜로디컬하지는 않다.
즉, 후렴구 빼고는 잘 안들어오는 느낌이기도 하다.
특이하게 솔로 타임에서 기타 프레이즈가 나오기도 하네...흐흐흐 신기함.
