1995년에 나온 음악이라는 생각을 해보면, 그 때 당시에 이 음악을 들었으면 나름 충격이었을 것 같기도 하다.
이제는 이런 류의 밴드들이 너무나도 많기에, 지금은 시대의 트렌드라고 봐야겠지.
이 밴드는 노르웨이 출신이고, 여자 보컬은 리브 크리스틴...지금은 밴드에서 탈퇴하고 자신의 밴드를 이끌고 있구먼.
그 만큼 능력이 있는 여자였으니까...

아하....NELL SIGLAND도 2010년에 THEATRE OF TRAGEDY를 그만 둔 것으로 봐서는
이 이후에는 NELL 이나 LIV를 초빙해서 라이브 연주를 하는 것으로 보인다.
2010년에 해체를 했는데...왜 그 이후 라이브 영상이 나오는건지 모르것눼..당췌...
On 1 March 2010, Theatre of Tragedy issued a statement informing fans of their decision to split on 2 October 2010. The statement cited personal desires to spend more time with family and an inability to juggle their everyday working lives with a "rock and roll" lifestyle.[3] On 12 March, Theatre of Tragedy kicked off their farewell tour, "Forever is the World Tour". The Norwegian symphonic goth metal band Where Angels Fall opened for them on the European part of the tour. In September, fans helped the band to secure funds to finish their first and last DVD by making donations when the label pulled out most of the funding for the production.[4] The result was Last Curtain Call, a concert film from their very last show on October 2, 2010 in their hometown Stavanger.

여성 소프라노를 처음으로 채택해서 시작한 몇 안되는 그룹인데, 공식적으론 어느팀이 제일 먼저인지 모르겟다.
중간에 노선 변경을 너무 많이해서 욕을 너무 많이 먹었던 것이 가장 큰 해체의 원인이 아닐까 싶다.
차라리, 리더가 다른 사이드 프로젝트 밴드를 만들어서 일렉트로닉스는 하고...여기는 계속 고딕으로 유지를 했으면 어떨까하는 바램이...든다.
