IT'S A HARD LIFE.
"It's a Hard Life" is a song by the British rock band Queen, written by lead singer Freddie Mercury. It was featured on their 1984 album The Works, and it was the third single from that album. It reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart and was their third consecutive Top 10 single from the album. It also reached number 2 in Ireland and number 20 in the Netherlands. It also came 19th on a poll, The Nation's Favourite Queen Song broadcast on ITV on Tuesday 11 November 2014.

마지막에 THE NATION'S FAVORITE QUEEN SONG이라고 되어있는데...이 곡이 설마 1등은 아니겠지.
Musically, the song recreates the feel of "Play the Game" in order to update the story, utilising Mercury's piano playing and the band's characteristic technique of layered harmonies.
바로 이전 앨범인 THE GAME의 PLAY THE GAME의 느낌을 살렸다고 되어있는데, 왜 비슷한 느낌이라는 거지.
피아노 치면서 이 곡과 비슷한 창법으로 노래를 해서 그런가?
전혀 못 느꼈는데...-.-; 내가 둔감한건가.
이 곡 또한 숨겨진 명곡이라고 본다. 보는게 어딨냐, 명곡이지.
의상이 참 묘하네...도대체 뭘 나타낼려고 뮤직비디오를 저렇게 찍은건지,
오페라의 주인공이 되고 싶어서 저렇게 한건가 싶기도 한데...

Tim Pope's video which accompanies the song has been created in an operatic "style," with the band and extras appearing in period "operatic-style" costume. The video also featured an unusual "skull and bones"-themed guitar that cost more than £1,000,[1] played by May, which can also be seen on the single's cover.
The band found the costumes hot and uncomfortable, and the "eyes" on Mercury's outfit were ridiculed by the others, saying he looked "like a giant prawn".[1] Both Brian May and Roger Taylor groaned out loud when shown this video during their commentary for the Greatest Video Hits 2 collection. Taylor said it was "the most stupid music video ever made." May pointed out more positively that the video was an ironical take, as it portrayed Mercury as a wealthy man singing about how hard life and love are, and at that point Mercury in real life possessed great wealth but was still searching for love.
Taylor remarked that he had "actually loved the song, but hated the video."[citation needed] Despite this, the video was posted on the band's official YouTube channel.
One of the extras in the clip is Austrian actress, Barbara Valentin.

내 생각이 맞네...오페라를 표현하기 위한 것이고, 프레디는 복장의 눈알 때문에 조롱을 받았고 ㅋㅋㅋ.
THE WORKS에 나온 뮤직비디오는 사실 모두 좀 요상하기는하다.
앨범의 곡은 정말 좋은데, 유난히 뮤직비디오들이 너무 창의적이었던 것 같다.
RADIO GAGA는 좀 멋지지만, I WANT TO BREAK FREE, IT'S A HARD LIFE 모두
멤버들이 뮤직비디오를 극혐하고 있다는 점.
단순, 프레디의 아이어어였을까? 싶기도 하다.
전에는 몰랐던 정보가 하나 있다.
물론 위키를 통해서 파악된 내용이긴 하지만...
전주를 오페아에서 차용했다는 내용인데,

그리고, 이 곡은 THE WORKS 투어 중에만 불리워졌으며, 그 영상은 많이 돌아댕긴다.
